An application for an entry in a property’s land and mortgage register will soon be able to be submitted entirely online. Work on the relevant legislation has just begun.
This is another step towards the digitalisation of the justice system and the simplification of procedures related to real estate transactions. The proposed solutions are intended to facilitate the submission of applications both for professional market participants and for private individuals.
As Michał Siembab notes in a comment for Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, the planned changes may significantly improve the functioning of the entire land and mortgage register system. Our expert points out that, given the current level of development of IT tools, it is already becoming possible to fully abandon paper forms.
