The legal pages of the Rzeczpospolita newspaper (Rzecz o prawie) feature an article authored by attorney Tomasz Ludwik Krawczyk, partner in GKR Legal, concerning the draft act establishing a special committee for the investigation of re-privatisation of real estates in Warsaw.
The article presents its author’s critical opinion of some of the prerequisites for repealing the issued decisions concerning return of real estate proposed in the bill, which, as the author suggest, would enable all decisions concerning the return of property in response to claims based on the so-called “Bierut decrees” to be repealed, in the same way as the decisions concerning buildings inhabited by residents.
